About the event
Morning session from 11am - 1 pm - Isobel Egan
Afternoon Session from 2pm to 4pm - Jim Behan.
Isobel Egan is renowned for her porcelain architectural forms, which calmly invite viewers to engage with these restful spaces using porcelain and all its delicacy to great effect.
She will discuss her artistic practice and inspiration along with her experience of business and exhibition opportunities for ceramic artists. She will accompany this with a slideshow of her work.
Jim Behan of Dolmen Pottery will present his experiences and work during a short slide show followed by a demonstration of his slipware technique. Jim’s work appears spontaneous and effortless belying the 40 years of craft he has mastered in his Carlow home studio.
